The 2009 YouthLaunch Service Awards Luncheon was held Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Hyatt Hotel in Austin.
This annual event honors three Texas high school seniors for their outstanding community service, with a
scholarship to the college of their choice. Each year this event proves to be an inspiration, as the
students take the podium to describe the obstacles they faced and their determination to reach out to
improve their world.
This year, we received 108 scholarship applications from all over Texas. These remarkable young people have undertaken over 47 YEARS of total service to their communities! Information about our three winners can be found HERE.
