YouthLaunch believes all people share the responsibility to find new and better solutions to social problems and that young people, especially, possess the passion, creativity, and energy we need to solve our society's most pressing concerns. From years of developing youth service programs, we know that meaningful service experiences transform and improve the lives of young people while preparing them to solve social issues now and in the future. This is evident through the successful evaluation results that YouthLaunch has received, as well as through the experiences of YouthLaunch alumni, who carry their experiences and learning with them as they engage with their communities.

YouthLaunch envisions a world in which all young people are healthy and resilient and have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to make meaningful contributions to society. Our mission is to provide empowering service experiences for young people. YouthLaunch achieves this through innovative programs that combine best practices of positive youth development with transformative powers of service. The primary clients of YouthLaunch are young people ages 12-24 engaged in service, who gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a difference in their communities now and in the future.
