Jessica Roe joined YouthLaunch in January 2007. As Deputy Executive Director, Jessica guides the development and implementation of YouthLaunch programs and initiatives.

Jessica has worked within the nonprofit sector for eight years in various capacities. Prior to coming to YouthLaunch, she served as Programs Director for Texans Standing Tall, an organization that provides training and technical assistance to community coalitions seeking to prevent youth alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use. She also served as a Program Officer for Texas AmeriCorps*State grantees, Case Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri, and Graduate Teacher with the University of Missouri's Honors College Community Involvement Program. Jessica credits the year she spent as an AmeriCorps VISTA for igniting her passion for service and community change.

Jessica received a B.A. in Anthropology from Southwest Texas State University and a Masters in Public Affairs from the Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri.

Jessica is the proud "Big Sister" to Brooke, with whom she has been matched for three years through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas.
