Jessica Roe, Deputy Executive Director Send Jessica an e-mail. Jessica Roe joined YouthLaunch in January 2007. As Deputy Executive Director, Jessica guides the development, implementation, and evaluation of YouthLaunch programs and initiatives. Jessica has worked within the nonprofit sector for ten years in various capacities. Prior to coming to YouthLaunch, she served as Programs Director for Texans Standing Tall, an organization that provides training and technical assistance to community coalitions seeking to prevent youth alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use. She also served as a Program Officer for Texas AmeriCorps*State grantees, Case Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri, and Graduate Teacher with the University of Missouri's Honors College Community Involvement Program. Jessica received a B.A. in Anthropology from Southwest Texas State University and a Masters in Public Affairs specializing in Nonprofit Management from the Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri. Jessica volunteers with Meals on Wheels and More and is also the proud "Big Sister" to Brooke, with whom she has been matched since 2005 through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas. She credits the time she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA for igniting her passion for service and for opening her eyes to the critical role nonprofit organizations can play in changing communities for the better.
