As Senior Program Coordinator for YouthLaunch's No Kidding program, Jenifer leads her staff to engage a team of teen parents who serve as peer educators for other young people about the rights, responsibilities, and realities of teenage parenting. As the Senior Program Coordinator, she serves as a resource for other program coordinators in successful program management strategies. Currently, Jenifer is also managing other youth initiative projects, including the development of a council of youth to help guide the organization priorities and goals.

Jenifer has more than 10 years of experience working with youth and young adults in a variety of educational and non-profit settings. She received a BA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and an MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker. Jenifer's community involvement has been varied and included serving as the Austin representative of the GLBT Critical Issues Committee with the National Association of Social Workers, working as a hotline volunteer with the National Youth and Runaway Hotline, serving as an interim on the Ashera Project board of directors, and she continues to commit to a monthly volunteer project.

Jenifer loves working with and mentoring youth. She hopes to instill her sense of social responsibility in her son Waylon who is already putting coins in his bank to give to charity.
