As Program Coordinator for the No Kidding: Straight Talk from Teen Parents program, Jenifer leads a team of teen parents who serve as peer educators for other young people about the rights, realities, and responsibilities of teen parenting. Previously Jenifer has worked with youth in schools and community agencies, as well as with the Texas Community Supervision & Corrections Department.

Jenifer received a BA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin and an MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker. Jenifer's community involvement includes serving as the Austin representative of the GLBT Critical Issues Committee with the National Association of Social Workers. Jenifer also facilitates a comprehensive sexuality program for 9th grade girls at Reagan High School as part of a long-term youth development program with Ashera Project. She also co-facilitates a service-learning/health education program for 10th graders.
