Coming aboard in 2005 as Community Relations Specialist, Donna oversees the communications, marketing and special events of YouthLaunch. This position works closely with the Executive Director to design and produce promotion materials for various stakeholders.

Donna started her career as an advertising copywriter, winning a National Addy, before entering the political arena. She worked as a press aid to office holders and political candidates for almost 10 years, writing speeches, brochures, newsletters, and organizing fundraisers, press events along with statewide voter turnout. Donna was awarded a National Pollie Award for her presidential campaign literature.

Donna received a B.A. in Journalism, Broadcast and Film from Trinity University in San Antonio. Her community service includes work with The Center for Child Protection, the DayGlo Center for Abused Children, The American Red Cross, The Texas Disaster Response Information phone bank and endless hours inside her children's schools. Donna lives with her husband Monte and their three sons, Max, Jake, and Evan.
