Brian Mahoney joined Youth Launch in September 2007 to work with the Fatherhood Initiative part of the No Kidding Program. Originally from the northwest, Brian graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Anthropology. He then committed to a year of service with AmeriCorps where he worked with at-risk youth in a comprehensive literacy program that addressed not only academic, but social and cultural issues as well.

Brian has volunteered with many organizations including, The Service Board, a nonprofit that works with teens in one of the most culturally diverse communities in Washington state, and New Futures, which works with struggling children and their families to create strong communities.
