Since 1994, YouthLaunch has engaged 9,536 youth in service, and their efforts have made a difference in the lives of over 70,000 people.

In 2008-09, YouthLaunch:

  • engaged 62 youth in service
  • impacting the lives of 28,132 people
  • through over 10,000 hours of service

    In 2008-09, YouthLaunch youth:

  • presented to 7,687 middle and high school students about the rights, realities and responsibilities of being a teen parent
  • grew 22,448 pounds of produce and donated 8,700 pounds to local hunger relief efforts
  • presented to 2,433 youth and community members about the legal, social, and physical consequences of underage drinking
  • helped develop and then implement a "Healthy Choices" project that synthesized all YouthLaunch programs in one curriculum that was presented to middle school students
